Delineators

Delineators are used to alert drivers, motorists and pedestrians to work areas, parking lot traffic control, striping or resurfacing, dangers and boundary limits in order to prevent accidents and protect people.

Delineators are particularly useful at locations where the alignment might be confusing or unexpected, such as at lane-reduction transitions and curves. Delineators are very effective guidance devices at night and during adverse weather.

An important advantage of Delineators in certain locations is that they remain visible when the roadway is wet or snow covered. Delineators are considered guidance devices rather than warning devices. Delineators may also be used on long continuous sections of highway or through short stretches where there are changes in horizontal alignment.

Another area of Delineators’ use is bridge and junction entries, car parks, buildings, shopping malls, gas stations, parking lots for special events and construction zones on streets.

We have 2 types of Delineators; Flexible and Demountable Delineators.

Flexible Delineators can be staked into the ground without any special equipment. They are used to mark roads work zones, construction zones. Reflective face enhances night time visibility.

Demountable Delineators can be used with short or long separator base.
